How to 'whitelist' ADEST (so your spam filter doesn't block it) This page explains how to 'whitelist' the ADEST email address so that our weekly newsletter won't be blocked by your spam filter. How you do this depends on what email and/or anti-spam system you are using. Find the system you are using in the list below, and click on it for detailed instructions (listed in alphabetical order - more common systems in bold).
AOL AOL version 9.0 To ensure that 'ADEST' is delivered to your Inbox, add *@adest.com.au to your "People I Know" list. To do this: - Open your latest 'ADEST' newsletter email. - Click the 'Add Address' button on the right-hand side to add 'ADEST' to your "People I know" list. If you're using an earlier version of AOL, you'll need to set your Mail Controls instead: - Go to Keyword Mail Controls. - Click Next until the Save button shows up
at the bottom. CleanMyMailbox If you're using CleanMyMailbox to filter your incoming email, you can exempt 'ADEST' email bulletins from the filtering process by adding *@adest.com.au to your Whitelist. To do this: - Click the 'Whitelist' button. Earthlink If you're using Earthlink, you can make sure ADEST is delivered to your Inbox by adding *@adest.com.au to your Address Book. To do this: - Open your latest ADEST email Hotmail (1) If you are using a Hotmail address,
ADEST bulletins may be blocked because they are addressed to
a mailing list, not to you individually. To fix this: (2) You may also need to add 'ADEST' to your
Hotmail 'Safe List'. To do this: Mailblocks If you're using Mailblocks to filter your incoming email, you can exempt the 'ADEST' email bulletin from the filtering process by adding *@adest.com.au to your 'Accept Mail From' list of addresses. To do this: - In Mailblocks, click the Addresses tab. MailShield *@adest.com.au to your list of Friends. To do this: - On the MailShield toolbar, click Friends. Mail Washer If you're using MailWasher to filter your incoming email, you can exempt the 'ADEST' email bulletin from the filtering process by adding *@adest.com.au to your list of Friends. To do this: - In MailWasher, select Tools. MSN If you're using MSN version 9 for your email, you can make sure the 'ADEST' email bulletin is delivered to your Inbox by adding *@adest.com.au to your Safe List. To do this. - Open your latest 'ADEST' email bulletin. For older versions of MSN:
Netscape If you're using Netscape to handle your
email, you can make sure 'ADEST' email bulletins are
delivered to your Inbox by creating a Whitelist. To do this,
follow the instructions
at this link (click the link, then scroll down the
page). Oddpost If you're using Oddpost to filter your incoming email, you can exempt the 'ADEST' email bulletin from the filtering process by marking it as "Not Spam" - however only if it has been incorrectly identified as spam in the first place. Here's what to do: - Find any 'ADEST' email bulletin that's in
your Probably Spam folder. Outlook If you're using Outlook 2003 for your email, you can make sure 'ADEST' email bulletins are delivered to your Inbox by letting Outlook know you consider them 'safe'. There are a few ways you can do this: - Open any 'ADEST' email bulletin, then add
the sender or the sender's domain to your Safe List. Outlook Express If you're using Outlook Express for your email, you can make sure 'ADEST' email bulletins are delivered to your Inbox by creating a whitelist. To do this: - Add the email address *@adest.com.au
to your address book Spam Assassin If you're using Spam Assassin to filter your incoming email, you can exempt the 'ADEST' email bulletin from the filtering process by adding *@adest.com.au to the Whitelist in your User Preferences. To do this: - Search your hard drive for the spam
assassin folder, then open it. Spam Butcher If you're using Spam Butcher to filter your incoming email, you can exempt your 'ADEST' newsletter mail from the filtering process by adding *@adest.com.au to your Know Senders list. To do this: - Open Spam Butcher and click the
'Configure' button. Spameater If you're using Spameater to filter your
incoming email, you can exempt the 'ADEST' email bulletin

Here's how: - Open Spam Sleuth. Verizon If you're using Verizon for email, you can ensure that the 'ADEST' email bulletin is delivered to your Inbox by adding *@adest.com.au to your Safe List. To do this: - Go to your Verizon Inbox. Yahoo! To ensure that your 'ADEST' email bulletin alerts are delivered to your Yahoo Inbox (not the Bulk Mail folder), you can instruct Yahoo to filter it to your Inbox.
